RSL Florida Announcements
Super Y League Tryouts are announced
Directors of Coaching Steve Henson and Maurice Loregnard of RSL Florida and General Manger Eric Sims of HC United played key leadership roles in developing an agreement with the United Soccer League to recruit, organize and field highly competitive Super Y League Boy’s and Girl’s Teams for the upcoming 2010 Season. Competing in the Super Y League is an opportunity for high-level, competitive players to compete over the summer months with direct benefits: improving their technical level of play and speed of execution along with gaining exposure to intense, higher levels of competition from teams outside of the Tampa Bay area.  Tryouts will be on Feb 27th(Ed Radice) & 28th(Monroe Middle School). read more ...

Washington earns redemption, RSL BOYS win Super Y Title
Penalty shootouts usually lead to a pair of emotions: Joy for the winners, and disappointment for the losers. For RSL Florida’s Raeshaun Washington, the biggest emotion was a sense of redemption. Washington’s low shot into the right corner of the net gave RSL Florida’s boys under-15 side a 5-3 shootout victory against Mountain WFC from Vancouver, B.C. in a shootout after the two sides had played to a 1-1 tie through regulation and overtime at the Ed Radice Sports Complex on Tuesday afternoon.

RSL Florida U16 Boys bring home the Sparta Cup!

Congratulations to the RSL Florida U16 boys for winning the Sparta Cup in Utah. The team scored a total of 13 goals and gave up only 1!  The team also had the opportunity to walk onto the field with the RSL team on Saturday night and got to see RSL beat the Seattle Sounders 1-0.  They enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the Stadium and received a pre-game speech about respect before their Friday night match from Head Coach Jason Kries. Special thanks to RSL personal Teresa, Matt and Assist. Coach BJ for their help and hospitality.
